Like you, we’re creators. We build and sell a product, called Gumroad. :)
Going forward, we want to make the business of Gumroad as open and accessible as the product is. Last year, we announced we are working to open source our entire codebase, so that people can fork and create their own versions of Gumroad.
Today, we’re going to “open source” our internal business numbers. We hope that this transparency will encourage us to build Gumroad into an even better business–and product–for you!
We’ll be sharing these numbers on the 10th (or so) every month. Over time, we’ll share deeper dives into our financial data to answer the questions that people have.
