Less email? Yes please. Messaging makes your life easier by putting customer requests right in the context of their purchase, so you can respond faster and with more relevant answers.
How does it work? Easy. Messages appear right in your Customers dashboard, like so:

You’ll know if you have messages that are awaiting a response if you login and see this:
Customers awaiting a response will appear at the top of the list, so they’re easy to respond to. Once you hit “Send response,” an email is sent to the customer.
How does it look to consumers? Just a new button in their receipt: “Send message.” For more information about Messaging, see our Help Center.
